Distance Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Distance Switch Test

1. Remove the driver's airbag Driver's Airbag Replacement.

2. Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel, and the 6P connector (B) from the multi-information switch.






3. Check for continuity between the 20P connector terminals in each switch position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the cruise control combination switch Cruise Control Combination Switch Replacement.

5. Use a diode tester between the 6P connector terminals in each switch position according to the table.





6. If the diode test is not as specified, replace the cruise control combination switch Cruise Control Combination Switch Replacement.
