Alternator Removal and Installation: Installation

Install the alternator.

Connect the alternator connector (A) and the positive alternator cable (B) to the alternator.

Install the bolt (C) securing the harness holder.
Install the drive belt (see DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT ).
Install the A/C condenser fan shroud (A), and tighten the bolts.

Install the coolant reservoir (B).
Install the RFC unit (see RFC UNIT REPLACEMENT ).
Raise the vehicle on the lift to full height.
Tighten the two bolts (A) securing the A/C condenser fan shroud.

Install the ground cable (B), the harness clamps (C), and the connector (D) to the A/C condenser fan shroud.
Install the splash shield (see SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ).
Lower the vehicle on the lift.
Install the upper grille cover (see UPPER GRILLE COVER REPLACEMENT ).
Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see RECONNECTION ).
