Fuel Tank Unit Removal and Installation: Installation

Connect the transfer tube (A).

Install the fuel tank unit (B) in the reverse order of removal with a new base gasket (C).
Connect the fuel tank unit 5P connector (A), then connect the quick-connect fitting (B).

Install the fuel fill cap.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) (but do not operate the starter motor). The fuel pump will run for about 2 seconds, and fuel pressure rises. Repeat this two or three times, then check for fuel leaks.
Install the access panel (C).
Install the rear seat cushion (see SEAT CUSHION FRONT DUCT ).
