Fuel Tank Unit Removal and Installation: Removal

1. Relieve the fuel pressure (see FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING ).
2. Remove the rear seat cushion (see SEAT CUSHION FRONT DUCT ).
3. Remove the access panel (A) from the left side of the floor.

4. Disconnect the fuel tank unit 5P connector (B).
5. Disconnect the quick-connect fitting (C) from the fuel tank unit.
6. Remove the fuel tank unit (A), and disconnect the transfer tube (B).

NOTE: If the fuel tank is full, drain the fuel (see FUEL TANK DRAINING ).
