Rear Power Window Switch Test

Remove the rear door panel (see REAR DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and disconnect the 14P connector from the switch.
Check for continuity between the terminal in each position according to the table.
- When the power is connected to terminal No. 2 and ground is connected to terminal No. 14. There should be continuity between terminals No. 8 and No. 7 [No. 1].
- When the power is connected to terminal No. 6 and ground is connected to terminal No. 14. There should be continuity between terminals No. 8 and No. 1 [No. 7].
- When the power is connected to terminal No. 8 and ground is connected to terminal No. 14, then push the rear power window switch to DOWN. There should be continuity between terminals No. 8 and No. 1.
- When the power is connected to terminal No. 8 and ground is connected to terminal No. 14, then pull the rear power window switch to UP. There should be continuity between terminals No. 8 and No. 7.

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch (see FRONT PASSENGER'S POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
