Power Relay Test: Notes

Special Tools Required 

Relay Puller 07AAC-000A2A1 or 07AAC-000A1A0

Use this chart to identify the type of relay, then do the test listed for it.

Accessory relay (with keyless access system) Normally-open four-terminal type
A/C condenser fan relay(1)
A/C compressor clutch relay(1)
Blower motor relay(1)
Console accessory power socket
Driver's seat heater relay (high)(1)
Electronic throttle control system (ETCS) control relay(1)
Front accessory power socket relay* (with keyless access system)
Front accessory power socket relay (without keyless access system)
Headlight washer motor relay* (With headlight washer)
Ignition coil relay(1)
Front passenger's seat heater relay (high)(1)
PGM-FI main relay 1(1)
PGM-FI main relay 2(1)
PGM-FI subrelay(1)
Rear window defogger relay(1)
Starter cut relay 1
Starter cut relay 2(1)
Seat ventilation relay* (with seat ventilation)
SH-AWD relay* (with SH-AWD)
+ B cut relay (M/T)
ACC cut relay* (without keyless access system) Five-terminal type
IG2 cut relay* (without keyless access system)
Driver's seat heater relay (low)(1)
Front passenger's seat heater relay (low)(1)
(1) Carefully remove the relay from fuse/relay box using the relay puller. Do not use pliers. Pliers will damage the relay.
