Front Engine Mount Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the engine compartment covers (see ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the front warm up TWC (see WARM UP TWC REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the front engine mount stop (A), then remove the front engine mount bolt (B).

  4. Remove the front engine mount mounting bolts (A). A-

  5. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.
  6. Remove the front engine mount and disconnect the vacuum hose (B).
    NOTE: A/T model: Do not bend the ATF cooler pipe when removing the front engine mount.
