DTC Advanced Diagnostics: P07BE
DTC P07BE : Parking Actuator Valve Stroke Sensor A/B Correlation
General Description
The transmission control module (TCM) judges the parking position by the output voltage from the parking actuator valve stroke sensor. The TCM monitors the total value of the parking actuator valve stroke sensor A output voltage and the parking actuator valve stroke sensor B output voltage, and when the total voltage is out of specified range for a specified duration, the TCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

[ ]: HDS Parameter
Malfunction Threshold
The total value of the parking actuator valve stroke sensor A output voltage and the parking actuator valve stroke sensor B output voltage is 4.0 V or less, or 6.0 V or more for at least 1.0 second.
Possible Cause
- Solenoid wire harness failure
- Valve body assembly failure (parking actuator valve stroke sensor)
- TCM internal circuit failure
Confirmation Procedure
Operating Condition
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait for at least 5 seconds.
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the shift position indicator blinks and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the TCM memory. The MIL does not come on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The shift position indicator comes off by turning the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. The Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool clear command.
