Driver's Power Seat Motor Test: Test

How to use this service information .

WARNING:

NOTICE: 

When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.

Slide/Height/Tilt 

  1. Slide Motor/Height Motor/Tilt Motor - Test

    Procedure/Specifications 

    • Test each motor in each direction by connecting power and ground according to the table. (Figure 1, 2, 3, and 4)

      NOTICE:  To prevent damage to the motor, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

    Preconditions 

    Recline Motor (Figure 1)

    Procedure/Specifications 

    • Test each motor in each direction by connecting power and ground according to the table. (Figure 1 and 2)

      NOTICE:  To prevent damage to the motor, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

    • Test each motor in each direction by connecting power and ground according to the table. (Figure 1 and 2)
