Low Fuel Indicator Test: Test

How to use this service information .

NOTICE: 

When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.

1. Gauge Control Module - Test

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, replace the gauge control module .
2. Body Electrical DTC - Check

   Preconditions 

   • "Gauge Control Module - Test" is completed and has tested normal.
   • HDS Connected

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • Select the following menu buttons on the HDS screen in sequence, and check for body electrical system DTCs.
   • • Body Electrical (System Selection Menu)
     • Gauges
     • DTCs

   Specifications 

   Specification
   No DTC

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, do the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .
   • If it is normal, do the fuel gauge sending unit test - Refer to: Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test (3.0L Engine)  or Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test (3.5L Engine) .
