Resetting the Power Sunshade Motor-Control Unit: Procedure
How to use this service information .
NOTICE:
- Do not fully open the panoramic glass roof or the power sunshade until the clear/learn procedures are complete. Otherwise, you will damage the mechanical components of the panoramic glass roof or power sunshade assembly.
- When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.
NOTE:
Do this procedure if any of the following has occurred:
- The power sunshade does not work during AUTO operation.
- The power sunshade was moved manually while the 12 volt battery was dead or disconnected.
- The power sunshade motor was removed or replaced with a new one.
- Any of components related to the power sunshade were replaced or removed and installed.

Follow the procedure for resetting the panoramic glass roof motor-control unit.
