Driving Position Memory Clear: Procedure

NOTICE:
When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.
Clear the driving position memory after doing any of the following actions:
- Power seat motor test or replacement.
- Substituting a known-good power seat control unit.
The memory for position 1 and 2 are stored in the power seat control unit. If the driving position memory is cleared, the memory stored in the power seat control unit is cleared.
- Driving Position Memory - Clear
1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
2. Press and hold the
button of the lumbar switch.
3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
4. Release the
button of the lumbar switch.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 three more times.
NOTE:- Once the memory is successfully cleared, the driving position memory switch indicator 1 and 2 turn on for 3 seconds.
- If the indicators did not turn on, go back to step 1 and repeat the procedure.
