Washer Motor Test: Test

NOTICE: 

When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.

1. Windshield/Rear Window Washer Motor - Test

   Preconditions 

   • Windshield/Rear Window Washer Motor Removed - Refer to: Front Bumper Area (2025) or Front Bumper Area (2022 2023 2024)

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • Check the motor operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. (Figure 1 and 2)
     NOTE:

     If the washer motor runs smoothly, but little or no washer fluid is pumped, check for a disconnected or blocked washer hose, or a clogged washer motor outlet.

   Result 

   • If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield/rear window washer motor.
