Confirmation Procedure

Perform the following procedures in order. If the failure is duplicated, the confirmation procedure is completed.

• Procedure 1
• • Start the engine.
  • Hold the engine speed at 3, 000 rpm without load (CVT in P or N, M/T in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
  • Do the HDS [DI FUEL PRESSURE TEST].
  • If the HDS [DI FUEL PRESSURE TEST] result is not OK, the failure is duplicated.

• Procedure 2
• • Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes in the same range of the recorded on-board snapshot parameters shown below:

    Engine Speed

    Vehicle Speed

    MAP Sensor (Hi Res)

    TP Sensor

    APP Sensor

    ECT Sensor 1

    IAT Sensor (1)

    Fuel Pressure Converted From PF Sensor

    Fuel Pressure Direct Injection System
