Removal And Installation: Front

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the hood panel from the front of the vehicle. Refer to HOOD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connection (1) for the front impact sensor.
  4. Remove the mounting screw (2a) and remove the front impact sensor (2b).

  1. Position the front impact sensor (2b) in its housing and tighten the mounting screw (2a).
  2. Connect the electrical connection (1) for the front impact sensor.
  3. Reinstall the hood panel onto the front of the vehicle. Refer to HOOD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
