Cold Start Valve

The cold start valve is mounted on the intake manifold and sprays fuel during starting. It enriches the mixture so the engine will start easily. The valve is powered through the starter circuit and grounded through the thermo-time switch so it operates for only a short time while the engine is being cranked.
