Ignition Coil Test - 5000CS Turbo
- Disconnect electrical leads from top of ignition coil. Connect ohmmeter between coil tower and terminal No. 1 (next to coil tower). Resistance reading should be 6500-8000 ohms.
- If not, check for good contact at lower ignition coil connection. If connection is okay, replace coil. Connect ohmmeter between terminals No. 1 and 15. Resistance reading should be .50-1.5 ohms. If not, replace coil.
