Tachometer Signal
- Remove control unit panel located on passenger's side footwell. DO NOT unplug ignition control unit. Connect voltmeter between ground and terminal No. 7 of control unit. Pull back on boot to gain access to terminal.
- Connect tachometer to engine. Start and run engine at 2000 RPM. Voltmeter reading should be close to 1.3 volts. If reading is incorrect, replace ignition control unit.
- If reading is correct, but vehicle tachometer does not correspond with test tachometer, check wiring between terminal No. 7 of ignition control unit and vehicle tachometer. Repair if necessary.
