All Models

  1. Remove test equipment and prepare ABS system for normal operation. Start engine and observe anti-lock brake system indicator light in vehicle. Indicator light must go out. While engine is running, actuate switch for ABS system. Indicator light must come on.
  2. Turn ignition off and restart engine. Indicator light must go out. Drive vehicle above 20 miles per hour. Anti-lock brake system indicator light must come on.
NOTE: On 5000CS Quattro, if the center and/or rear differential lock is engaged, the ABS indicator light must come on.
