5000S & 5000CS Turbo

  1. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Current For Left Front Solenoid Valve Place ABS tester in program switch position No. 18 and press button No. 8. When button No. 5 lights up, briefly press button No. 5.
  2. Display on ABS tester should be 1.9-2.3 amps when pump motor starts. If correct, go to next step. If reading is incorrect, repeat step 1) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
  3. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Current For Right Front Solenoid Valve Wait for digital display to zero and press button No. 9. When button No. 5 lights up, briefly press button No. 5 and then release.
  4. Display on ABS tester should be 1.9-2.3 amps when pump motor starts. If correct, go to next step. If reading is incorrect, repeat step 3) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
  5. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Current For Left Rear Solenoid Valve Wait for digital display to zero and press button No. 11. When button No. 5 lights up, briefly press button No. 5 and then release.
  6. Display on ABS tester should be 1.9-2.3 amps when pump motor starts. If correct, go to next step. If reading is incorrect, repeat step 5) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
  7. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Current For Right Rear Solenoid Valve Wait for digital display to zero and press button No. 12. When button No. 5 lights up, briefly press button No. 5 and then release.
  8. Display on ABS tester should be 1.9-2.3 amps when pump motor starts. If correct, TEST 18 is completed. If reading is incorrect, repeat step 7) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
