5000CS QUATTRO

  1. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Control Current For Left Front Solenoid Valve Place ABS tester in program switch position No. 19. Press button No. 8 and wait for button No. 5 to light up. Press button No. 5, while lit, and then release.
  2. Pump motor should start up 2 times. Display on ABS tester should read 4.5-6.1 amps after a few seconds. If correct, go to next step. If incorrect, repeat step 1) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
  3. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Control Current For Right Front Solenoid Valve Wait for digital display to zero. Press button No. 9 and wait for button No. 5 to light up. Press button No. 5, while lit, and then release.
  4. Pump motor should start up 2 times. Display on ABS tester should read 4.5-6.1 amps after a few seconds. If correct, go to next step. If incorrect, repeat step 3) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
  5. Item Being Tested - ABS Control Unit Control Current For Left Rear Solenoid Valve Wait for digital display to zero. Press button No. 9 and wait for button No. 5 to light up. Press button No. 5, while lit, and then release.
  6. Pump motor should start up 2 times. Display on ABS tester should read 4.5-6.1 amps after a few seconds. If correct, TEST 19 is completed. If incorrect, repeat step 5) several times with engine running. If reading is still incorrect, replace ABS control unit.
NOTE: On 5000CS Quattro, after TEST 19 is completed, perform TEST Perform TEST 24 before TEST 23.
