Operational Test

  1. This test should only be performed after repairing or replacing, brake pads, rotors, brake hoses, brake servo, master cylinder, brake cables, or parking brake components.
  2. Turn ignition on. The ABS indicator light should come on. With differential locks NOT engaged (5000CS Quattro), turn ABS system on and drive vehicle above 4 miles per hour. The ABS indicator light must NOT come on. If correct, the ABS system is functional.
