Oxygen Sensor
The Oxygen (O2) sensor is a heated type sensor that measures the oxygen content of the exhaust gases. The FICU uses the data from the O2 sensor to determine the air fuel mixture.
On vehicles with manual transmission, the O2 sensor is located on the exhaust pipe just ahead of the catalytic converter. On vehicles with manual transmission, the O2 sensor is located at the front of the catalytic converter. The connections for the O2 sensor and it's heating element are located on a bracket next to the distributor.
