Trouble Shooting Trouble Code Memory
- If trouble code light does not illuminate with ignition on, check wiring between ICU connector terminal No. 3 and FICU connector terminal No. 13. If wiring checks good, connect LED Tester (US 1115 ) between FICU connector terminals No. 13 and No. 14 using a jumper wire.
- Each time ignition is turned on, tester must blink 3 times. If tester does not blink 3 times, replace ICU.
NOTE:
If ICU is replaced, check ignition timing. If trouble code warning light blinks while driving, knock regulation is at maximum control limit.
