Air Sensor Potentiometer

Air sensor potentiometer generates a voltage signal based on position of airflow sensor plate. FICU uses this signal to determine cold acceleration enrichment.

ICU uses information to measure position of plate. This measurement determines engine load. This value, along with engine speed, is used to control ignition timing. Potentiometer is connected to plate by air sensor lever.
