A/C Compressor Clutch (On/Off Signal)

  1. With ignition off, disconnect FICU harness connector. Connect multimeter between terminals No. 33 and No. 35 (ground). See Figure . With A/C on "OFF" position, turn ignition on.
  2. Multimeter should read zero volt. If reading is not as specified, repair break in wiring. With A/C in "AUTO" or "BI-LEVEL" position, turn ignition on.
  3. A/C compressor clutch must cycle on and have 12 volts present at compressor clutch connector. If compressor does not cycle on or have 12 volts present at connector, repair break in wiring.
