Primary Resistance

On version one, disconnect ignition coil power stage connector and ignition coil wire. See Figure . On version 2, disconnect ignition coil power stage connector and remove screw from top of assembly. See Fig 1 .
Connect Multimeter (US 1119) between terminals No. 1 and No. 15. See Fig 2 and Fig 3 . Reading should be between .5-1.5 ohms. If not within specification, replace ignition coil.
If secondary and primary resistance values are within specification and there is still no ignition, replace ignition coil with power stage as an assembly.
