Ignition System: Distributor: Installation

Align rotor with No. 1 cylinder mark on edge of distributor housing. Install distributor and align housing to index mark made on crankcase. Install distributor hold-down clamp and bolt. Install distributor cap. Check timing. Tighten hold-down bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at the end of article.
