WASTEGATE By-Pass Regulator Valve: Notes
NOTE:
The wastegate by-pass regulator valve is located in front of the exhaust gas turbocharger. The wastegate by-pass regulator valve regulates the control pressure of the blow-off valve, and in turn, the boost pressure. Whenever there is no current to the valve (e.g. disconnected connector), boost pressure is limited.
NOTE:
All voltage and continuity tests should be performed with a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless specifically stated differently in testing procedures. For help with diagnostic testing. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
