Fuel Injector Resistance

  1. Checking fuel injectors electrically. Disconnect harness connector from fuel injector to be tested.
  2. Using a DVOM, switch to resistance range (mode). Measure resistance across fuel injector terminal. See Figure.
  3. Fuel injector resistance must be 15-17 ohms. If resistance is out of specification, replace any fuel injector that fails to meet specifications.
