Idle Speed: Requirements
- No Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored in DTC Memory. Check using Scan Tool (VAG 1551). See RETRIEVING FAULT CODES and BASIC SETTING FUNCTION (4) in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS .
- Engine oil temperature 185°F (85°C).
- Throttle Body (TB) in idle position.
- Fuel pressure gauge NOT connected.
- All electrical accessories switched OFF.
