DTC 00642 - Right/Front EDL Switch-Over Valve
NOTE:
DTC 00642 applies only to models with Electronic Differential Lock (EDL).
- Fault may be caused by the following;
- Open, short to voltage, or short to ground in the circuits between ABS control module and hydraulic unit.
- Faulty right/front traction control switch-over valve.
- Perform steps 5) and 18) of CIRCUIT TEST . If circuit test is inconclusive, ensure related wiring and harness connectors are in good condition. If fault still exists, substitute ABS control module with known good unit. Recheck for symptom and DTC.
