Removing Remote Control Transmitters From Memory
NOTE:
This procedure is helpful if customer loses a remote transmitter. All transmitters programmed to central locking module will be erased. Two separate keys are needed to perform this procedure.
- Turn ignition switch on (using the first key). Use second key to manually lock doors from outside vehicle. Press unlock button 5 times in one second intervals, on any remote transmitter programmed to vehicle. Horn will sound shortly each time button is pressed.
- After 6 seconds, press unlock button once, on any remote transmitter programmed to vehicle, to confirm transmitter no longer operates central locking system. Turn ignition off. Up to 4 new and/or existing transmitters can now be programmed to vehicle. See CODING REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTERS .
