Removing Remote Control Transmitters From Memory

NOTE: This procedure is helpful if customer loses a remote transmitter. All transmitters programmed to central locking module will be erased. Two separate keys are needed to perform this procedure.
  1. Turn ignition switch on (using the first key). Use second key to manually lock doors from outside vehicle. Press unlock button 5 times in one second intervals, on any remote transmitter programmed to vehicle. Horn will sound shortly each time button is pressed.
  2. After 6 seconds, press unlock button once, on any remote transmitter programmed to vehicle, to confirm transmitter no longer operates central locking system. Turn ignition off. Up to 4 new and/or existing transmitters can now be programmed to vehicle. See CODING REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTERS  .
