1.8L Turbo (TT - Engine Codes AMU & AWP)

The engine number ("Engine code" and "Serial number") can be found at the front next to the joint between engine and transmission. See Fig 1 . There is also a sticker on the cylinder head cover showing the engine code and serial number. The engine code is also included on the vehicle data sticker.
