Brake pads, checking thickness

CAUTION:

When the pad thickness is down to 7 mm (including backing plate) the brake pads have reached their wear limit and must be replaced (repair measure). The customer must be informed.

Determine thickness of outer pad by checking visually using a flashlight through wheel cut-out.
Determine thickness of inner pad by checking visually using a flashlight and mirror.
