Navigation System With Cd Drive Control Module Through August 2008: Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

-- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin:

-- Remove the left luggage compartment trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL COMPONENT OVERVIEW .

All vehicles:

-- Loosen nuts -2- and -4- (5 Nm) and screw -1- (5 Nm) on Infotainment rack -3-.

-- Disconnect all faulty connectors on the rack control modules.

-- Tip rack into luggage compartment until all navigation system with cd drive control module connectors can be reached.

-- Disconnect optical MOST bus connector.

-- Attach the VAS 6223/9 -1- onto the MOST-Bus connector -2-.

-- Disconnect remaining connectors.

-- Insert two clips of T10057 into release slots of navigation system with CD drive control module until they engage. Points on the grip eyelets of tool face outward.

-- Remove navigation system with CD drive control module from rack.

-- Remove T10057 by pressing locking tabs on navigation system with CD drive control module.
