Digital Sound System Control Module Through August 2008: Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

-- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin:

-- Remove the left luggage compartment trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL COMPONENT OVERVIEW .

All vehicles:

-- Loosen nuts -2- and -4- (5 Nm) and screw -1- (5 Nm) on Infotainment rack -3-.

-- Tip rack into luggage compartment until screws -2- on digital sound system control module -1- are accessible.

-- Disconnect all connectors on digital sound system control module.

-- Attach the VAS 6223/9 -1- onto the MOST-Bus connector -2-.

-- Remove the screws -2- (4 Nm) and remove digital sound system control module -1- from rack -3-.
