Steering Angle Sensor -G85-, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Attach the Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring with Slip Ring -F138- -2- to the switch module -3-. Refer to STEERING COLUMN SWITCH MODULE LOWER TRIM .

-- Install the steering column trim. Refer to STEERING COLUMN SWITCH MODULE UPPER TRIM .

-- Install the steering wheel. Refer to STEERING WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the driver airbag. Refer to DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG .

-- Then the steering angle zero adjustment must be performed.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to the vehicle data link connector with the ignition switched off.

NOTE:

Switch the ignition on.

DTC memory interrogated, errors shown corrected and DTC memory erased.

-- Start the program in Guided Functions.
