Selector Mechanism, Disassembling And Assembling: Removing

-- Ignition switched off

-- If equipped remove the ignition key.

-- Wait until the lamp in the Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit -Y26-, -2- turns off.

NOTE:

The Selector Lever Release Button -E681- and the Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit -Y26- are a unit -1-. They can only be replaced together.

-- Pull the selector lever handle upper section -1- upward.

-- Remove the three bolts -arrows- on the bottom of the selector lever handle upper section.
