Selector Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the two centering pins on the back of the selector mechanism into the opening on the base plate inside the center consoles.

NOTE:

The two centering pins are located at the front and back between the openings.

The centering pins align the selector mechanism and the handle with the center console.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Connect the connector -1-.

-- Install the center console. Refer to Center Console, Removing and Installing .

-- Check the selector mechanism. Refer to GEARSHIFT MECHANISM, CHECKING .
