ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention to the following:
-- Install the ATF lines all the way and then the clips -1 and 4-.
-- Loosen all three bolts -arrows- from the ATF lines, but do not remove.
The ATF cooler can be damaged by ATF lines installed under stress.
- By loosening the bolts tension is created in the ATF lines.
-- Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.
Vehicles from MY 2014
-- Push the ATF line -1- all the way on the ATF supports until the catches are released and the clip is released.
-- Remove the ATF line.
-- Loosen the clamps -2 and 3- and then seal off and remove the coolant hoses using Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the ATF cooler.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention to the following:
-- Lightly coat the ATF supports with ATF.
-- Insert the ATF line -1- all the way on the ATF supports until the catches are released.
-- In this position push down the quick-release coupling clip.
Vehicles with Metal ATF Lines
-- Loosen all three bolts -arrows-, but do not remove.
The ATF cooler can be damaged by ATF lines installed under stress.
- By loosening the bolts tension is created in the ATF lines.
-- Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.
Vehicles with Plastic ATF Lines
-- Align the ATF lines and position the pronged ring -arrow- in the transmission depression.
-- Then tighten the bolt -1-.

-- Check the ATF level. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING .
