Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
- The camera field of vision on the inside of the windshield must not be fogged up or dirty.
-- Clean the viewing window on the windshield with Cleaning Solution: D 009 401 04 .
-- The clip -1- must be replaced each time the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242- is removed. Remove the clip in the direction of -arrow- from the mount -2- to do so.
-- Insert the guide -3- for the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242- -1- into the mount -2- on the right side.
-- Place the support -4- on the clamp -5-.
-- Insert the support between the clip and the mount, and then push the support downward until it clicks into place.
- The support -4- must rest against the mount -6- -arrow-.
-- Calibrate the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-. Refer to DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT CAMERA, CALIBRATING .
- Conditions when the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242- must be calibrated. Refer to DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT CAMERA, CALIBRATING .
