Line Routing And Securing
There is a risk of damaging the lines.
The lines can be damaged by the moving or hot components.
-- Route the wires in the original cable guide.
-- Replace a damaged cable tie and cable bracket.
-- Ensure sufficient clearance to moving or hot components.
- To prevent interchanging lines and ensure the original routing is followed, mark fasteners, the individual lines, such as fuel, hydraulic, coolant, vacuum, and EVAP system lines as well as wires before removing them. Draw sketches or take pictures of them if needed.
- After securing the fuel and coolant lines and checking their routing, they must be inserted in their brackets and may not contact other components.
