Shift Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
If the Selector Mechanism is Replaced:
- When delivered, the handle for the emergency release -1- is attached and locked.
-- Remove the handle for the emergency release -1- in direction of -arrow A- and connect the bottom in the position shown in direction of -arrow B-.
- Route the cable neatly.
Continuation for All:
-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
-- Check the selector mechanism. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM, CHECKING .
-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
