Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustment: Toe-In

Before checking toe-in, vehicle must be in loaded condition. See VEHICLE LOADING TABLE  . Position steering gear to straight ahead and make sure that the marks on steering gear housing and steering shaft are aligned. If not within specifications, loosen tie rod clamps and turn tubes until correct toe-in is obtained. Tighten clamping bolts and make sure dust covers are not twisted.
