Reference Point Pick-Up

This sensor is located in the bellhousing, next to the ESS. It supplies the MCU with crankshaft position information. When the MCU has determined optimum ignition timing (based on input from various sources) information supplied by the reference point pick-up is used to signal ignition firing.
