MOTRONIC Control Unit (MCU)

The MCU receives electronic input signals from several engine sensors. Information supplied by these sensors is used to determine optimum ignition and fuel injection timing under various engine operating conditions. An air/fuel ratio of 14.7:1 is maintained under most driving conditions.
