Test 3: MOTRONIC Control Unit (MCU)
- Check circuits to MCU. Repair any open or shorted circuits. If circuits are okay, connect BMW service test unit and perform appropriate L-Jetronic tests in FUEL SYSTEMS section.
- In order to ensure that source of defect is only in control unit, it is recommended to replace unit for comparison.
