Power Steering Pump: Disassembly
- With pump removed, mark mounting bracket-to-pump location for reassembly reference. Remove fastening bolts (4) from pump and separate pump at face plate. Remove face plate.
- Press down rotor slightly on shaft and remove circlip. Pull pump shaft from pump body. Remove rotor and impeller blades. Note that side of rotor with recessed hole for circlip faces end plate. Press ball bearing off shaft.
