Hydraulic Control Unit For ASC+T: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground lead.
  2. Remove brake booster. See DISC - 7-SERIES article in BRAKES.
  3. Unscrew brakelines at couplings.
  4. Apply special tool 34 3 110 on bleeder screw. Loosen bleeder screw (reservoir pressure is discharged).
  5. Unscrew hydraulic fluid pipe at adapter.
  6. Unscrew nuts and remove inside wheel house trim panel.
  7. Unscrew ride level height control pressure pipe at adapter.
  8. Disconnect solenoid plug and pressure sensor plug.
  9. Unscrew mounting screws on wheel house and remove plunger-type hydraulic control unit.
